Melissa Levin Turner is Vice President of Insurance and Risk Management for Turnberry, a position she has held for more than twenty years. Levin Turner is responsible for all property casualty lines of insurance, risk management, loss control and safety. She oversees loan compliance, contract negotiation, insurance compliance of tenants and vendors, financial reporting and budget maintenance, construction insurance and safety, and all insurance claims associated with Turnberry’s diverse portfolio of properties. She has a vast worldwide network of broker and risk professionals in all markets and sectors of the insurance industry. Levin Turner is also a member of the Crisis Management Committee.

Levin Turner has extensive international experience. Prior to joining Turnberry, she was a Legal Advisor for the Royal Dutch Shell, Captive Insurance Company in Zug, Switzerland. She practiced law at S. Horowitz and Company, Tel Aviv, Israel; Aremband Dicks and Prisman Goldberg Choritz and Getz in Cape Town, South Africa; and at Norton Rose Fulbright Attorneys, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Levin Turner earned her B.A. and postgraduate LLB degree from the University of Cape Town. She has a Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty Agent License and is a member of the Broward Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society of America (RIMS). She is fluent in English, Hebrew, Afrikaans, and German.
