Marketing, communications and business development executive who has worked with leading brands and consumers across Latin America and multiple regions worldwide.

As a Turnberry executive, Garayzar leads the marketing efforts for retail, sponsorship, and business development as part of Turnberry Media. Garayzar launched and oversees this multi-million-dollar business development division that provides branding, experiential marketing, sponsorship, naming rights and singular promotional opportunities for over 250 clients at Aventura Mall and other major Turnberry properties. She also directs strategic marketing for Turnberry’s retail division, which includes its landmark Aventura Mall, one of the country’s most successful shopping centers. In her position, Garayzar leads in-house design, advertising, media relations, and social and digital media.

Prior to joining Turnberry in 2005, Garayzar served as Director of Development for Children’s Home Society of Florida. There, she headed marketing and fundraising efforts for a $16 million not-for-profit division. Previously, she was Vice President, Associate Marketing Director for Digitas, one of the country’s leading digital and direct marketing agencies, where she was responsible for Telefonica De Espana’s Terra Lycos in Spain and Latin America.

Garayzar also served as Director of Marketing for Viacom’s MTV during its launch phase in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market. Before going international, she led a portfolio of shopping centers as Regional Marketing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle.

Garayzar earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from University of Miami and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
