Philip Goldfarb is President and Chief Operating Officer at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a Turnberry property. Goldfarb brings over three decades of hospitality industry experience to his role at the iconic resort and to Turnberry’s growing portfolio of hotels and resorts. In addition to leading the team at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Goldfarb also oversees two Turnberry properties in Nashville, Tennessee, including the Hilton Nashville Downtown as well as the highly anticipated JW Marriott Nashville, which opened July 2018.

Under Goldfarb’s leadership, Fontainebleau launched BleauLive, an entertainment platform that merges one-of-a-kind vacation experiences with performances by top musical artists. Goldfarb has been instrumental in numerous projects, including introducing new restaurant concepts and multi-million dollar renovations. Phil has also played an important role in bringing notable chefs to the Miami and Nashville properties, including Bourbon Steak and Stripsteak by Michael Mina.

Prior to joining Fontainebleau Miami Beach in 2011, Goldfarb was the President & Chief Operating Officer at Turnberry Associates for eight years. Goldfarb also held roles as President & Chief Operating Officer at All Florida Hospitality Management and Vice President of Operations/Development for Doubletree Hotel Corp.

Goldfarb’s education at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality is the foundation of his successful career in the hospitality industry. Goldfarb has held the esteemed position of Chair of the Dean’s Council at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality for the past three years and has remained an influential alumnus of the Hospitality School since graduation. In recent years, Goldfarb has been awarded Florida International University’s prestigious “FIU Medallion” as well as the hotel school’s “Torchbearer Award.” He was also recognized bythe Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce with the “Excellence in Tourism Award”.
