Christopher J. Barone is Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of Turnberry. In his role, Barone is responsible for all of the Company’s accounting-related activities. His focus includes direct responsibility for corporate accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, investor relationships and partnership communications, and audit and compliance functions.

Barone has over 30 years of extensive accounting, finance and leadership experience across multiple industries. For the past 10 years, his emphasis has been within the real estate and development fields. Most recently, Barone was Vice President and Chief Accounting officer at Parkway Corporation, a Philadelphia based developer of commercial, residential and multi-use properties. Previously, he held a similar role within Gramercy Capital Corp, a publically traded REIT, with an emphasis on regulated financial institutions. Barone’s background also includes financial leadership roles with the Asplundh Tree Expert Co., a multi-billion-dollar utility construction company, as well as Piercing Pagoda, Inc., a national mall-based jewelry retailer. He began his career with KPMG LLP, the international accounting, tax and consulting firm.

Barone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
