LAS VEGAS - Slated to open November 14, Town Square will be a shopping and entertainment paradise for Las Vegas visitors. Among the diverse mix of retailers, RAVE Motion Pictures will premier its first Las Vegas area movie theater at Town Square, while Robb & Stucky Interiors will bring its fine furnishings and award-winning designers to the super regional lifestyle center.
Located on Las Vegas Boulevard south of Mandalay Bay at the junction of I-15 and the 215 Beltway, Town Square will be located just 10 minutes from McCarran International Airport.
Being developed by Turnberry Associates and Centra Properties, Town Square will revolve around a village-style setting, creating a one-of-a-kind shopping and dining experience in an open-air, Main Street-themed environment.
According to Philip S. Goldfarb, President and Chief Operating Officer, Town Square is attracting exciting retailers to Las Vegas because of the center’s innovative concept and accessible location.
“The emergence of new resorts, upscale shops and restaurants in Las Vegas has transformed it into one of the most sought-after cities to do business,” Goldfarb said. “We’re not building a standard shopping center at Town Square and many retailers who thought about coming to Las Vegas in the past waited for this unique opportunity.”
When Rave Motion Pictures opens, movie-goers will be entertained inside a
91,934-square-foot, 4,000-seat venue where they can watch the latest movie releases in all digital projection within 18 plush auditoriums.
Rave, which is one of the centerpieces of Turnberry’s super-regional lifestyle center Destin Commons in Florida, determined a Las Vegas debut would be a hit for the movie theater circuit.
“We believe Las Vegas, with all its wonderful entertainment options, is a perfect venue for our absolute state-of-the-art stadium theaters,” said Thomas W. Stephenson, Jr., CEO of Rave Motion Pictures. “We will feature fully digital projection, 3D capability on selected features and exciting amenities such as giant screens and four feet between every row. We welcome the opportunity to work with Turnberry Associates again at Town Square, as we did so successfully at Destin Commons in Florida.”
Another retailer slated to add a touch of new décor to Las Vegas is Robb & Stucky Interiors. The nationally recognized interior design and premier home furnishings retailer will open a 92,000-square-foot showroom at Town Square.
“The reputation of Turnberry Associates as a proven leader in residential and retail development made Town Square the ideal location for Robb & Stucky to enter into the Las Vegas market,” said Clive Lubner, chief executive officer of Robb & Stucky. “The opportunity supports our continued expansion and commitment to delivering high-end interior design for residential and commercial projects worldwide.”
Borders, Whole Foods Market and 24-Hour Fitness will join anchors RAVE Motion Pictures and Robb & Stucky at Town Square. The Fry’s Electronics store adjacent to the site was acquired by Turnberry and Centra and will be incorporated as a Town Square anchor. Spa Eleven also will open a large day spa on site.
Additional shops include Abercrombie & Fitch, Aldo, American Eagle, Apple, Bath & Body Works, BCBG, Bebe, Bebe Sport, Body Shop, Cache, Chico’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Crabtree & Evelyn, Design Within Reach, Eddie Bauer, Express, Everything But Water, Finish Line, Fossil, Gap, Godiva, Guess, Hollister Co., J. Also, well-known chef and restaurateur Louis Osteen is planning to open two restaurants – Louis's Las Vegas and Louis's Fish Camp – at the center.
