Jonathan Kurry
General Counsel

As General Counsel for Turnberry Associates, Mr. Kurry is responsible for oversight of the company’s legal department and for advising management on the full range of legal issues that impact day to day and long term business decisions.

  
Prior to joining Turnberry, Mr. Kurry was a Partner with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP and Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske, P.L. where he served as Chair of the Real Estate Group.  His more than 17 years of experience includes assisting clients in the development, financing, leasing and sale of virtually every type of real estate, with an emphasis on residential, retail and hospitality projects.  In private practice, his clients included institutional  investors and lenders, pension fund advisors and entrepreneurial developers.

Mr. Kurry serves on the board of the Bass Museum of Art and is active in the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.  A graduate of Tulane University and George Washington University National Law Center, Mr. Kurry also holds a general degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.  Mr. Kurry is a U.S.C.G. licensed captain.
